The producer does the growing, harvesting and packing. The forwarding agent takes care of transport. The airline is in charge of flying and delivering. But when, where and how are you supposed to make sure that the temperature of perishable goods is measured and monitored? A workshop held by the Cool Chain Association (CCA) in Sweden looked into these questions. In an almost intimate atmosphere, about fifty participants from the logical sector were invited by Envirotainer in Knivsta to talk about transport models, intelligent containers, pilot projects and the marking of perishable goods.
