Projekt:
RFID based Automotive Network
http://www.autonomik.de/de/218.php
The general conditions of the automotive industry have changed because of the globalization. Individual customer demands, new drive technologies and innovations lead to a continuous growing proliferation of variants. Therefore automotive manufacturer concentrate on their expertise and reduce their vertical integration. This leads to the development of complex networks, which have to be controlled. The goal of this research project is the improvement of information transparency in production and logistic networks of the automotive industry. Besides, a method to use and integrate logistical and product-specific information in internal and interplant tools for job controlling is going to be developed. Thereby, a standardized exchange of process-relevant and close to real time data to control and to optimize the supply chain has to be implemented. Based on this data being close to real time, a framework for hybrid (central - local) process controlling is going to be developed. By realizing this approach, a fast and flexible adaptation of the processes to the current situation is possible.
