Adaptive Business Processes - Modelling and Methodology
The development of a new and integrated modeling approach to adaptive business processes, including a prototypic modeling framework, is the objective of this research project. The modeling framework supports the analysis and specification, respectively the requirements engineering, of this new business process generation. This is done by integrating process- and agent-oriented modeling approaches as well as perspectives and methods from the knowledge engineering domain. The aim is to bridge the gap between real-world business process modeling and the currently far more abstract agent-oriented software engineering.
