Quality Inspection and Logistic Quality Control for Microforming Processes
This subproject of SFB 747 aims to develop the basic principles of a comprehensive quality management for the microforming domain. On the one hand the project will assure that the quality of the produced microparts is approvable, while maintaining process capabilty on the other hand. In order to achieve these targets, an integrated visual inspection concept, based on digital holography to accomplish a 3D-shape-acquisition of the micropart, will be developed. Furthermore, this visual inspection concept will comprise statistical methods and artificial neural networks to process the 3D-image data. It shall identify geometrical errors (e.g. crinkles, cracks) to minimize and recognize process disturbances to eliminate the causes.
