A Simultaneous Engineering Method for Microforming Process Chains
This subproject of SFB 747 aims to develop the basics principles as well as procedure models in order to design appropriate manufacturing process chains within the microforming domain. In this context a toolbox with related basic methods will be implemented, which will support the development and analysis of alternative production and logistics scenarios concerning the microforming of new materials. This toolbox and the basic methods will then be subsumed under the special procedure models to be able to project the entire microforming process chain and its different possible versions.
