Groupware-based modelling of production and information systems
In the groupware-based modeling of production and information systems, the main emphases of research are to be found. These incorporate: the methodical linking of both modeling directions, business process modellng and production structure modeling as well as the development of a general tool co-ordination component for the controlling of the distributed planning processes Essential research aspects include:
* Requirements analysis by a single-item and small-batch producer
* Integration and implementation of an object-oriented meta-model of production
* Development of meta-model co-ordinators for intelligent data transformation
* Drawing up and implementation of a groupware-based concept for distributed, co-operative modeling
